Managing Geopolitical Risk and Uncertainty

The definition of what we view as Geopolitical Risks has increased significantly in the past 50-100 years. Information technology interconnected global economy, our understanding of climate change, global pandemic, internal and global political shifts – all lead to an increasing set of risks impacting a business.

We can no longer dismiss Geopolitical risk as outside of internal audit’s control. Although we might not be able to control these risks, we must anticipate, prepare, and adapt to living in an uncertain world.

Accessing fundamental internal audit competencies, the participants will learn how internal audit can help shape the conversation about geopolitical risks.

This course is an adaptation of a webcast from February 1, 2023.
